Based in the UK and reporting directly to the Head of Data Engineering, we are actively seeking a Scrum Master. The role will play a pivotal part in managing out the Data Centralisation project as it enters the next phase of elevate and optimise. This team will be responsible for managing existing data pipelines and reporting alongside delivering new data capabilities.
You act as a facilitator, coach & problem solver within the agile project team and will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of our data products.

As a Scrum Master, you will:
Organise and facilitate key Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives. Serve as a coach and mentor to the team, guiding them on Agile practices, Scrum principles, and continuous improvement. This includes maintaining and updating Scrum artifacts like the Sprint Backlog, Burndown charts, time and spend tracking.
Collaborating with the BI team & Head of Data Engineering to prioritise the backlog and help refine the user stories, setting clear acceptance criteria and tasking within the DevOps board.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks that may impact the successful delivery.
Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a SAFe or similar environment within data projects.
Ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their goals and deliver high-quality products.
Create an environment of mutual influence and support the project team commitments.
Extensive hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including pipelines and releases.
Highly effective at planning and organising.
Familiarity with a range of data & analytics disciplines (e.g. data governance, business intelligence & analytics, data architecture, data engineering, data science) with a passion for using data to improve business outcomes.
Knowledge of emerging trends and issues within data & analytics.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other relevant agile certifications (SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, etc.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate at the most senior levels of the organisation.
