The General Surgery directorate is appointing into their admin service manager post. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to apply to this substantive position. As Admin Manager, You Will
* Lead and coordinate the day-to-day administrative operations of the service.
* Support the delivery of key performance, quality, and financial targets.
* Contribute to service development in line with directorate plans.
* Play a vital role in improving patient pathways through efficient administrative systems.

Key elements of the role
* Provide a full and comprehensive administration service for the General Surgery directorate, including line management.
* Provide administrative support to projects taking place within the services.
* Review and optimise the admin structure and processes in the department to support key performance measures and comply with National and Trust targets.
* Ensure all staff are working towards the delivery of high-quality care to patients.
* Ensure all staff are working to deadlines that contribute to national standards and patient experience measures for the service.
To continually improve and monitor processes and procedures of teams to ensure they are delivering an effective service and the teams remain competent and motivated.
To support the Operational Managers in delivering targets relating to elective recovery.
To build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues across the trust ensuring agreed quality metrics are achieved consistently.
