What You'll Be Doing
As an Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT), you'll play a key role in ensuring the safe and effective supply of medicines. Your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out final accuracy checks on dispensed prescriptions in line with GPhC regulations and company procedures.
* Supporting pharmacists in delivering safe and efficient pharmacy services.
* Participating in the full dispensing process, from receiving prescriptions to final preparation.
* Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
* Managing stock, monitoring expiry dates, and helping to maintain efficient inventory systems.
* Collaborating with pharmacists, care home staff, and prescribing teams to ensure patient safety.
* Supporting wider pharmacy services, such as advanced and private services (e.g., vaccinations), where appropriate.

About You – What We're Looking For
To be considered for this role, you must:
* Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
* Hold an NVQ Level 3
* Have completed an accredited Accuracy Checking Technician qualification.
* Demonstrate strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
* Be confident working both independently and as part of a team.

* A proactive, reliable attitude.
* A UK full driving licence (desirable but not essential).

Working Hours
* Full-time, 40 hours per week.
* Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1-hour unpaid break).
* Opportunities to take on additional hours, if desired.
