ECARX was founded in 2017 and has grown to almost 2,000 team members. The cofounders are two automotive entrepreneurs, Chairman and CEO Ziyu Shen and Eric Li (Li Shufu), who is also the founder and chairman of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group - one of the largest automotive groups in the world, with interests in international brand OEMs including Lotus, Lynk & Co, smart and Volvo Cars. Our International Marketing and Communications team is looking for a Marketing Communications Lead, initially on a 9-month fixed-term contract to supplement the team's activities during a parental leave period. Based in our office in the heart of London, with a hybrid office/WFH model, this role would fit into the Marketing and Communications team, reporting to the Director of Communications and working with the Product and Commercial teams and with third party agencies, to increase ECARX's recognition and postiive reception across our key audiences.

As a Lead in our Marketing Communications team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand image, engaging with our key audiences, and driving business growth. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and agencies to develop and execute effective strategies and activations. Our expected activities, and the skills and traits we are lookinginclude:
1. Content Strategy and Development:
o Establish writing guidelines, processes, and strategies for content delivery.
o Oversee writing and editing processes to maintain consistency and brand voice.
o Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate them into our content.

2. Event Management:
o Work with the exsting team to plan, promote, and execute digital events such as webinars, podcasts, and workshops.
o Project manage and deliver on live event presences, potentially including supporting event presence, managing meeting schedules, tracking logistics and
o Leverage creativity and strategic insights to enhance event impact and lead generation.
3. Digital and Content Marketing:
o Work closely with in-house and external digital marketing resource to develop and implement campaigns that promote ECARX to relevant audiences.
o Work with in-house and agency resources to create impactful media for delivery across multiple channels.
o Lead content and digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness.
o Create and edit thought leadership content based on industry trends that positions our people as experts.
o Optimise content for SEO and contribute to organic traffic growth.
4. Communications:
o Work with the Director of Communications and external resources to ensure accurate and appropriate presentation of our products/services in all communications.
o Collaborate on PR outreach, working with an international team.
o Audit and update public-facing content, both general and situational.
o Coordinate with the People team on talent brand and employee communications, to ensure consistent messaging across internal and external audiences.
o Create reports to present to senior management, and be able to recommend and execute on insight-driven activities.

Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in English/Humanities/Sciences, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or another relevant academic discipline.
* Accredited qualifications from a recognised body (e.g CIM, CIPR, PMI, Marketing Week) are interesting but not necessary
* 6+ years of practice experience in a Marketing, Communications or MarComms discipline.
* Ability to understand diverse audiences and effectively speak to their needs across a variety of channels
* Excellent project management skills and the ability to manage communications campaigns or digital projects.
* Presentation creation and delivery skills, with experience of working with senior leadership a bonus.

* Experience of working in a technology startup, semiconductor company, automotive OEM or automotive technology provider
* Experience of working in multicultural, matrixed environments a bonus.
