The European marketing and technical centre Lubrizol Hazelwood supports an extensive range of clients and Original Equipment Manufacturers across the globe.
This role is based at the European headquarters in Hazelwood, Derbyshire. Being set in rural Derbyshire, the Lubrizol campus at Hazelwood combines state of the art Research, Development and Testing facilities with breath:taking country views that create a unique working environment not commonly associated to the chemical industry
What Youll Do:
As Senior Electrical Engineer, youll be at the forefront of our innovation, developing standards and creative engineering solutions across site. Working with all levels of the business you will directly identify innovative solutions required to meet strategic business and sustainability goals, managing from concept to delivery, further enhancing the Hazelwood vision as a center of excellence.
As a senior figure within the team you will support a talented multi disciplined team support site, they are at the heart of what we do, key to our success, you will develop and mentor individuals, fostering an environment where they can excel.
Joining our team you will be managing an exciting GBP 2M project that will futureproof Hazelwood's electrical infrastructure, providing greater resilience, expandability, allowance for exportation of locally generated power off site and future net zero technology integration. Youll collaborate with a diverse group of passionate individuals to deliver sustainable solutions to advance mobility, improve wellbeing and enhance modern life.
As a safety ambassador you will ensure the upkeep of safety critical equipment is your focus, ensuring maintenance and compliance obligations across site are met. Driving a safety culture, you will ensure work performed on site is performed safely. Developing and maintaining documentation control you will ensure site information is accurate and up to date.
As a design authority you will directy impact and shape the electrical landscape across site, you will also be required to be subject matter expert for the electrical systems within the organisation's Management of Change process, reviewing, advising and approving changes to our plant and services, ensuring changes are carefully considered.
