Job Details Employer: Alliance Healthcare Location: Chessington, KT9 1SN Shift: Full Time, Mon-Fri 9:00-5:00 40hrs Pay Rate: £13.09 per hour plus benefits listed below. We're seeking a transport administration clerk to support our Fleet and Transport team at our Service Centre in Chessington. We are looking for someone who thrives in an exciting and challenging environment where the work we do is critical in ensuring the integrity of the medical supply chain. The Transport Compliance Administrator will support the transport department in ensuring adherence to all regulatory and company standards regarding vehicle operations, driver compliance, and safety protocols. This role involves maintaining accurate records, assisting with audits, and facilitating communication between drivers, management, and regulatory bodies. Key Responsibilities: Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transport operations comply with local, national, and international regulations, including vehicle licensing, driver qualifications, and safety standards. Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of driver licenses, vehicle inspections, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation. Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Driver Communication: Serve as the point of contact for drivers regarding compliance inquiries, training, and policy updates. Facilitate communication between drivers and management. Reporting: Generate regular reports on compliance metrics, driver performance, and vehicle usage for management review. Process Improvement: Participate in the development and implementation of compliance processes and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and safety. Qualifications and Experience: Previous experience in transport compliance, logistics, or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of transport regulations and safety standards. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with compliance management software.
