Job Title: Deputy Manager – Children's Residential Home
Location: Leicester LE7
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience & qualifications)

The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Deputy Manager to join our team. You will play a key role in supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with Ofsted regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the management and leadership of the residential care team
* Support the delivery of individual care plans and therapeutic approaches
* Ensure a safe, caring, and supportive environment for all children
* Supervise, mentor, and develop junior staff members
* Participate in on-call duties as part of a rota
* Contribute to inspections, audits, and quality assurance processes
* Promote the physical and emotional well-being of each young person
Requirements:
* Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) – essential
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or willingness to work towards) – desirable
* At least 2 years' experience working in a children's residential setting
* Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or team leader role
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and Ofsted regulations
* Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
* Ability to lead by example and promote a positive team culture
* Full UK driving licence – essential
