Job title: Apprentice and Skills Development Coach – Project Management

Salary: £35,900 – £41,997
What you’ll be doing:
1. Delivering effective programmes using coaching and blended learning pedagogy to train, monitor, and develop apprentices towards occupational competence.
2. Recording and reporting performance data to support outstanding learner outcomes.
3. Coaching and developing learners through off-the-job training, providing welfare support and career guidance to facilitate progression, attainment, and transition into the business.
4. Ensuring safety and professional standards are embedded in all activities and courses.
5. Embedding modern learning practices and stretch activities such as skills competitions and problem-based learning.
6. Inspiring and coaching learners to reach their full potential and become autonomous employees.
7. Monitoring safeguarding, SHE, welfare, and support arrangements for learners on Early Careers & Skills programmes.
8. Supporting the design and development of curricular content and assessment strategies for co-delivery modules with external providers.
9. Collaborating with stakeholders across a national landscape, including skills coaches and external providers.
10. Supporting content delivery and assessment of work in conjunction with training providers.
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
1. Understanding of Project Management in a business context.
2. Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
3. Passion for apprenticeships and learning.
Desirable:
1. Teaching and learning qualification, with experience in learning delivery.
2. Professional registration in an applicable field.
3. Assessor qualification.

The Skills Coach team:
Part of the National Programmes Team, supporting apprentices across the Project Management Degree Apprenticeship within Shared Services and Digital Intelligence Sectors, with some travel across sites expected.
