The role:
As a supply EYFS Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial part in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners in Nursery and Reception classes. Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the classroom teacher in the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons.
Supporting individual children and small groups with their learning, focusing on literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
Helping to prepare and set up the classroom for activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating learning space.
Contributing to the tracking and monitoring of children's progress.
Implementing positive behaviour management strategies and promoting the emotional well-being of pupils.
Collaborating with staff to ensure a seamless and supportive learning experience for every child.
The ideal candidate
We are looking for a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with:
A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or Supporting Teaching and Learning.
Recent, relevant experience working within an EYFS setting in a UK primary school.
Excellent knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
A flexible and adaptable approach, with the confidence to work in different school environments.
A genuine passion for supporting the development of young children.
A caring, patient, and resilient attitude.
An enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service, or a willingness to apply for one through Tradewind.
