We are seeking to appoint a passionate and committed Teacher of English to join our secondary academy in Nottingham on a full-time basis, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year.

About the role:

Deliver high-quality English teaching across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5 for the right candidate

Plan and deliver engaging, challenging lessons that inspire a love of literature and language
*
Contribute to a well-sequenced and ambitious English curriculum
*
Use assessment effectively to support progress and raise attainment
*
Maintain high standards of behaviour in line with the academy’s clear and consistent behaviour systems

The successful candidate will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Be a confident and knowledgeable English subject specialist

Have experience teaching in UK secondary schools
