Due to continued growth, they are now seeking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their team based at their main site in Haydock, ST HELENS. Ideally you will have to have previous mechanical maintenance engineering experience. With this role it will involve working on vertical boring machines, reading and understanding engineering drawings, preventive and breakdown maintenance on refurbishment machines. Responsibilities: Work on refurbishment die machinery such as a high pressured 36.000 psi jetwash, CSV countersink machines, die grinding machines, vertical lathes, radial arm drills Using overhead gantry cranes slinging equipment Using forklift daily for loading and unloading vehicles Preparing dies and rolls for despatch, wrapping and strapping for safe transit Ability to read and understand technical drawings Perform maintenance and repairs on refurbishment equipment to maximise production at our refurbishment facility Having the ability to identify problems and enhance customer refurbishment of dies by communicating these findings to the operations manager Exhibit tim...
