ROLE: People Hub Coordinator
HOURS: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (40 hours per week)
LOCATION: Campsfield IRC, Langford Lane, Oxford, OX5 1RE

We're looking for a People Hub Coordinator who will support colleagues across Campsfield IRC by managing key administrative processes, including training, rostering, payroll activity and wider operational HR tasks. You will ensure the centre always has the right people, in the right place, at the right time, while providing essential support for recruitment and assessment activities.

Role Responsibilities

1. Provide high‑level administrative support across all People Hub functions, handling confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
2. Deliver transactional activities including: Training / Learning & Development administration Attendance management Rostering Payroll inputs (overtime, sickness, adjustments) Staff availability and work‑life balance coordination HR entry & exit processes Probation and Mi review administration Apprenticeship request processing Operational staff leave coordination Supporting Employee Relations activity
3. Act as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, ensuring strong communication and smooth operational processes.
4. Support workforce planning activities to ensure teams are staffed effectively.
5. Play an integral role in the recruitment process, including supporting Detention Custody Officer assessment centres alongside operational and training teams.
6. Work collaboratively as part of a small People Hub team, reporting into the People Hub Manager.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must meet the below requirements for the role.

7. Strong communication skills and the ability to balance attention to detail with wider operational priorities.
8. Confident user of Microsoft Excel and strong general IT capability.
9. Experience with rostering tools and HR processes is advantageous but not essential.

Eligibility Criteria

10. Must be a British citizen, an EU citizen with settled status, or hold Indefinite Leave to Remain from a Commonwealth country.
11. Must have lived in the UK for at least the past three years with limited travel outside the UK.
12. Must have no significant criminal record, bankruptcy history or adverse social media activity.
