Connect Appointments have a new opportunity with a well-known production business in Fife. We're looking for a Team Leader to get started within their Freuchie site (just north of Glenrothes).
What’s on offer?
* A full-time permanent position, working 40-hours per week
* Working hours are based on a rota of day and back shift - with every second weekend off
* Hours vary across 6:45am to 2pm; and 2:15pm to 10pm; and 06:45am 17:30pm
* A salary of £32,000 to £36,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities
* Leading, motivating and engaging your team - always building a positive working environment
* Managing your team's performance, ensuring they're meeting their targets
* Encouraging and highlighting progression and training opportunities
* Staff development, appraisals, and other HR functions
* Maintain effective relationships with other teams across the business
* Ensure effective cost management
* Conduct risk assessments and ensure Food Health and Safety at all times
To be successful in this Team Leader role
* Previous experience managing a team
* Previous experience in a production/manufacturing, warehouse or related background
* Have solid people skills and great communication
* A basic level of computer literacy
