This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic professional who is passionate about giving young children the very best start in life. About the Role As our Nursery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning environment, supporting staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care and education. You will lead a small, dedicated team and work closely with the school leadership to maintain our nurturing, community-focused ethos. You will be in ratio, working directly with your team and the children, for the majority of your days with dedicated time given once a week for planning and preparation. Key Responsibilities • Lead daily operations to ensure a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment • Provide strong leadership to inspire and motivate staff • Oversee curriculum planning in line with the EYFS framework • Ensure safeguarding excellence and compliance with statutory requirements • Build positive relationships with children, families, and the wider school community • Manage administrative duties including staffing, attendance patterns, funding and invoicing paperwork, equipment orders and record-keeping About You We are looking for someone who is: • A dynamic and confident leader with the ability to inspire a team • Experienced in early years leadership, ideally within a nursery or school setting • Qualified to Level 3 or above in Early Years (Level 5 desirable) • Knowledgeable about the EYFS, safeguarding, and best practice in early childhood education • Passionate about creating a joyful, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children What We Offer • A happy, vibrant and creative school • A friendly, supportive and dedicated staff team • A beautiful village setting with strong local ties • Opportunities for professional development • A welcoming school community with a strong ethos • The chance to make a meaningful impact in a small, well-loved nursery • We are a small village school with 149 children on roll in our nursery and main school and are proud to be part of Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust.
