Location: Derby
Salary: £34,840 to £35,360 + overtime (£17.75 per hour) + sleep ins (£50)

We are looking for a committed and proactive Deputy Manager to join a childrens residential home in Derby. Please note experience of working in an Ofsted regulated home is essential for this role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced individual with a Level 3 qualification who is ready to step up, or an existing Deputy Manager looking for a more supportive and structured environment.
Deputy Manager Key Responsibilities:
Provide day to day leadership and support to Residential Support Workers and Team Leaders
Support the Registered Manager in the running of the home
Ensure the physical, emotional and social needs of young people are consistently met
Take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Act as a role model on shift, bringing structure, consistency and direction
Assist with care planning, risk assessments and behaviour management strategies
Ensure all records and documentation are accurate, up to date and Ofsted ready
Support the development and performance of staff within the home
Deputy Manager Requirements:
Experience working in an Ofsted regulated childrens residential setting is essential
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
Level 5 desirable or willingness to work towards
Sound knowledge of safeguarding, Ofsted standards and relevant legislation xsngvjr
Leadership qualities with a calm, resilient and supportive approach
A strong commitment to achieving positive outcomes for young people
