Step Into Teaching are looking forgraduate learning support assistantsfor a secondary school inRedditchoffering a full time role starting in the new academic year (September 2025-July 2026).
The role is to support their SEND/SEMH pupils.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate who is looking to gain experience before becoming an educational psychologist/SENCO/teacher.
The Opportunity:
* Graduate Learning Support Assistant
* Aspiring educational psychologists/ SEN Teachers/aspiring Teachers
* 1:1 & Small Group work
* Secondary school – rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted
* Direct routes into ITT
* Full-time role – Monday - Friday
* September Start -interviews to take place this summer
* £480 - £520 per week - term time only
Key Responsibilities:
* Working alongside the class teacher to support children who need support in the classroom.
* Supporting children with an EHCP alongside the SEN team
* Leading sessions outside of the classroom with children both 1-1 and small groups
* Planning and resourcing intervention sessions
* Working alongside other professionals to assess children
* Supporting children pastorally to enable them to feel safe and secure both at school and at home.
