Base pay range
Dependent on experience and location, between £65,000 to £75,000, plus a competitive benefits package.
Role overview
Join our team as a Senior Business Analyst - Data and be part of a supportive environment where your skills and expertise are valued. The role reports to the Data Product Owner and involves defining data solutions, acting as an intermediary between stakeholders and development teams, and supporting development across the product lifecycle.
Based in Wolverhampton or Chatham, with some travel to other offices, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements, translating them into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria within an Agile environment.
Key responsibilities
* Refine user stories and break them down into smaller tasks
* Develop data models, data flows, and related artifacts
* Conduct impact assessments, feasibility studies, and research into systems and processes
* Ensure solutions meet quality standards through data modeling, lineage, and data quality requirements
* Maintain end-to-end traceability against standards and regulations
* Facilitate workshops and liaise with stakeholders to capture business requirements

Required skills and experience
* Proven experience as a senior business analyst or Product Owner in an Agile environment, especially on data projects including migration
* Technical understanding of BI landscape, fintech systems, data repositories, migration, management, and cloud storage
* Proficiency in data analysis, working with large datasets and identifying trends
* Excellent stakeholder communication and workshop facilitation skills
* Experience writing functional and technical user stories with acceptance criteria
* Experience in an Agile transformation within Financial Services
