We are looking for a hard working and reliable person to join our kitchen team in our family run bar & restaurant, 3 days a week, Wednesday to Friday during lunchtime service hours. We serve food 12pm to 3pm so hours would be Tuesday to Friday 11:30am until approximately 4pm. Extra hours/overtime for busier days and private functions/events.
* Wash crockery, pots, pans & kitchen utensils.
* Food handling and food preparation.
* Daily clean of kitchen areas and keeping refrigerators and freezers clean.
* Checking and putting deliveries away and reporting any stock shortages to line manager.
* Report failing equipment to head chef.
* Be punctual, hard working and flexible.
* Be a good team player and have excellent communication skills.
* Adhere to all health and safety legislation.
* Cleaning of kitchen equipment.
Health & hygiene certificate would be an advantage. Full training will be given upon hiring.
