Operations Team Leader for Sheringham church
Lighthouse Community Church in Sheringham is looking to recruit a part‑time Operations Team Leader to facilitate the running of its day‑to‑day operations.
Lighthouse is a busy, vibrant and outward looking church whose vision is to “Worship God, Make Disciples and Transform Communities”. In order to help us achieve this vision, we are looking to recruit a part‑time Operations Team Leader to ensure that the Church fulfils its operational responsibilities in an efficient and professional manner.
The post holder will need to be a practising Christian who is willing to become a part of the worshipping community at Lighthouse Community Church. The role is varied and will require excellent organisational and administrative skills, good communication skills and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
You will hold responsibility for ensuring the Church meets its legal responsibilities in terms of Health and Safety and Employment Legislation, oversee the effective use of the ChurchSuite admin system, support the Leadership and Trustee teams, and undertake some line management responsibilities.
Hours: The post is for 16 hours per week. (initially for a 1‑year contract) The postholder will need to be at the church premises from 09:00 to 15:00 hours each Wednesday, with the rest of the hours to be flexible between Tuesday and Thursday. Occasional evening work will be required.
Salary: £15 per hour. 25 days annual leave plus public holidays.
Location: Lighthouse Community Church, 62 Cromer Road, Sheringham. Some home working may be possible with prior agreement.
