Overview
Join the Plastic Surgery Outpatients team at Wythenshawe Hospital as a Nursing Assistant. We are seeking a motivated candidate, ideally with experience in an outpatient setting, to join our friendly multi-disciplinary team dedicated to improving patient outcomes in plastic surgery outpatient services.
You will be supervised by Registered Nurses and assist the Nursing team in delivering a high standard of patient care.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Nursing team in delivering excellent patient care and support patients through their clinic appointments to ensure a positive journey
* Help maintain patient flow throughout the department
* Offer chaperone services where required
* Engage with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure clinics run to time
* Gather and feedback patient experience within the department
On joining MFT and Development Opportunities
If you are new to healthcare, you’ll be supported to develop knowledge and skills through the Support Worker Development Programme for Nursing Assistants, which may enable progression to a Band 3 Nursing Assistant role on completion.
If you are an experienced Nursing Assistant, you’ll undertake a skills analysis at start to identify any gaps and be supported to access relevant clinical skills modules to progress to a Band 3 post on completion. Evidence of prior learning will be reviewed and considered.
