The Job
You will be carrying out the installations and remediations of fire doors and passive fire products in accordance with the manufacturer technical guidance and latest British and EN standards on small and large projects within the UK, ensuring all works are to a high standard within Health & Safety and Quality company requirements.

* Minimum of 3 years experience in a like-for-like or similar role.
* Good understanding of third-party accreditation requirements in this field.
* A driven and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a challenging environment, can work under pressure, and works well in a team or on their own.
Responsibilities
* Conduct the installation and remediation of fire doors to manufacturer guidance and in line with our IFC third-party accreditation.
* Record installation and refurbishment of fire doors via reporting software, confirming that the door meets manufacturer and installation parameters.
* Assist in compliant repair and maintenance work strictly in accordance with manufacturer guidance and BS8214.
* Work to surveys, third-party specifications, risk assessments, insurance, and local authority notices.
* Work alone and as part of a team.
* Ensure safe transportation of door sets from the manufacturer or depot to the site.
* Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with our Health and Safety system.
* Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to Customer Care.
* Assist in the application of passive fire stopping; practical experience advantageous.
* Manual handling of fire doors to and from the area of installation, ensuring safety of all individuals.
* Removal of redundant fire doors for disposal.
* Ensure the work area and storage area are always clean and tidy.
