Montrose Community Trust is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Support Worker to join our team at our Montrose Connections Dementia Meeting Centre. This rewarding role is ideal for someone with experience supporting older adults and/or those living with dementia, who is committed to making a meaningful difference to people's lives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, organise and deliver engaging activities for members of the Meeting Centre.
* Build trusting relationships with members and their families, taking a person-centred approach.
* Carry out weekly check-ins with family carers to offer guidance and support.
* Manage and coordinate the volunteer rota for the centre.
* Attend Meeting Centre Scotland meetings to contribute to best practice.
* Arrange home visits where appropriate and support referrals to day care centres or care homes.
* Work closely with colleagues to ensure a safe, welcoming and supportive environment for all.
* Inspire and empower the team to work with autonomy, fostering a motivated, supportive, and positive workplace culture.
About You:

* Experienced in working with older adults and/or those living with dementia (desirable).
