Job Title: Orchestra Manager
The Scottish National Jazz Orchestra (SNJO) is seeking an enthusiastic Orchestra Manager to oversee the day-to-day management and administrative support for the organisation, ensuring its efficient operation and development, including the Tommy Smith Youth Jazz Orchestra (TSYJO).
This role is ideal for an exceptionally organised and self-motivated individual with a passion for the arts, particularly jazz. It offers a broad range of responsibilities and an excellent opportunity for career development in arts management. Key duties include implementing artistic plans, fundraising, planning, production, publicity, managing concerts and tours, and ensuring smooth organisational operations. As a public representative and advocate for the orchestras, strong communication skills are essential for liaising with colleagues, venues, sponsors, and audiences to foster growth and success.

* Hours: 35 hours per week. Part-time options may be considered. Weekend and evening work are required for tours and events.
