What the Job Involves The role involves conducting holistic assessments of patients' needs within their homes and over the telephone. You will recommend rehabilitative solutions to promote independence and improve quality of life. Additionally, you are responsible for continuously evaluating and improving the occupational therapy service on both professional and administrative levels. The position requires close collaboration with nurses, social workers, physiotherapists, and volunteers to assess and treat patients. Managing caseloads, supervising junior staff, conducting home visits, supporting team members, and attending family and multidisciplinary team meetings are key responsibilities. The ability to travel around the Borough for home visits and community settings is essential.
