The Opportunity
An established and growing Accountancy business is seeking an Internal Finance Controller to join its finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is keen to develop their career in finance within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
The successful candidate will support the coordination and execution of financial transactions and activities, including invoicing, monitoring transactions, and supporting reporting processes. The role also involves assisting with audits, managing financial records, and working closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial administration.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of weekly group Profit & Loss statements
*
Perform weekly bookkeeping across group companies using accounting software
*
Record and reconcile company credit card transactions and associated receipts
*
Issue customer invoices as required
*
Assist in collating information for Direct Debit collections
*
Monitor aged debt across the group and report to relevant managers
*
Support internal audit processes by providing required financial information
*
Complete administrative finance tasks and monitor financial transactions
*
Assist with budget tracking, forecasts, and future cash flow monitoring

Requirements
*
Minimum Grade B in GCSE Mathematics (or equivalent)
*
AAT part-qualified, Accounting & Finance graduate, or equivalent qualification
*
Experience using Sage accounts software or a similar accounting system
*
Strong organisational and analytical skills
