We are looking for a support worker to join our team at a supported living scheme in Benfleet, working with 3 adults with a range of complex needs and learning disabilities.
This is more than a job- it's about empowering people to live independent, meaningful lives on their own terms.
You will provide person-centred support tailored to each individual, supporting with:
* Personal care and medication
* Moving and handling
-Daily living skills including cooking, budgeting and maintaining a home
* Supporting individuals within the Positive Behavioural Support framework
-Encouraging community involvement, friendships, and achieving personal goals.

This is a permanent, part-time position compromising of 30 hours per week; due to the nature of the scheme, our shift times are 8am-10pm. This means this role would involve working 2 days per week, across 7 days. Permanent staff are also obligated to fulfil one sleep in shift per week, which is paid alongside the hourly rate. To apply for this role, you must be flexible and able to commit to the hours offered.
Unfortunately, we are not currently able to accept candidates seeking sponsorship, or those who wish to work 20 hours only. Due to the nature of this role and working with vulnerable adults, all applicants are subject to an enhanced DBS check (paid at applicants cost, and reimbursed if successful in the position) and 2 professional references.
* A full, clean UK driving license is essential for this role due to being able to transport the individuals out in the community. Due to insurance requirements, successful applicants must be over the age of 25 years.
