The role is for a Generative AI Engineer (or specialist) focusing on building and automating complex workflows within ComfyUI.
It is currently a milestone-based contract (outside IR35 via a Statement of Work) starting at roughly one day per week for the first month. The goal is to scale this to a full-time position once the initial workflows are validated by the client's customers.
Key Responsibilities
* Workflow Development: Setting up and building 6 to 7 specific workflows that integrate image, video, and audio generation into a single package.
* Automation: Ensuring these workflows can be triggered via an API from the client's SaaS platform.
* R&D: Staying up to date with the latest open-source models and programming custom nodes to keep the pipelines sustainable.
Requirements
* \"Gold Standard\" Skills: Deep experience with Python and ComfyUI is essential for building custom nodes.
* Programmatic Setup: The client specifically wants someone who sets up the environment programmatically (using Git/CLI) rather than just using a basic desktop installer
* Hardware: You must have your own powerful rig to develop on locally, though you can remote into their machine for final model runs if needed.
