Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN/SEND Tutors for Young People with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs are required in West Midlands. Multiple positions are available, and hiring is ongoing to meet the diverse needs we support. We are committed to transforming the quality of education for young people with SEN (Special Education Needs)/SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities) and other needs such as SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health).
We support children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties) and SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties). We seek SEN/SEND tutors passionate about transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in West Midlands. Our mission at Targeted Provision is to raise educational standards for vulnerable young people in the UK. We support our team with SEN/SEND Support Specialists throughout every placement.
This role is ideal for qualified SEN/SEND teachers interested in 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with various learning needs, using creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed approaches to improve engagement and educational outcomes.

SEN/SEND Tutor tasks and responsibilities:
* Planning engaging, needs-based sessions
* Delivering holistic sessions to support educational and social-emotional growth
* Completing reports and providing progress feedback
* Engaging as a Worker under contract for short-term engagements
* Paid via PAYE; no set work amount or expenses coverage
* Insurance coverage provided

Minimum requirements:
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, or similar needs
* Understanding of safeguarding procedures
* Enhanced DBS (assistance available at cost)
* Two professional references
* Right to work in the UK
