This practice is very well established and has a very strong local customer base. This is a large and busy store with a huge team and they are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to join the business and work closely with the team and support the Manager.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Manager
You will be able to confidently and competently dispense to all levels, pre-screen and contact lens teach.
A key part of this role is to work efficiently as part of a team, to support and manage the team offering any help and advice when needed.
You will report directly to the Practice Manager and directors of the business
Driving the team towards hitting targets - in both customer service and productivity
Requirements of the Assistant Manager
At least 3 years of experience within optics in a Supervisor/ Assistant Manager type role within a busy practice.
Previous experience of managing a team
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
