This is a fantastic chance to join a fast-paced FMCG environment, offering great benefits, development opportunities and the chance to make a real impact in their engineering department.Salary: Up to £47,500Shift Pattern: 7am-7pm (2 days and 3 off, 3 days and 2 off)Benefits:Weekend and overtime rates at 1.5xAnnual performance bonusWorkplace pensionEmployee referral schemeResponsibilities:As Maintenance Shift Engineer, you will report directly to the Engineering Manager and play a vital role in maintaining and improving the operational and safety performance of the site machinery. Your responsibilities will include:Carrying out routine plant checks across chillers, compressors, vacuum systems and other machineryAssessing machinery and reporting any defects, ensuring unsafe equipment is prohibited from useTroubleshooting and resolving breakdowns in collaboration with Shift ManagersRecording issues and corrective actions to ensure continuous improvementConducting stock checks and requesting parts when requiredSupporting wider business success by carrying out ad-hoc engineering tasks as directedThe Person:We are looking for a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer with the ability to problem-solve under pressure while working collaboratively across teams.
