The Clinical Negligence Team Leader will guide and inspire our Clinical Negligence team. In this pivotal role, you will shape and drive our team’s success, ensuring we consistently meet the needs of our clients while delivering on Fletchers’ commitment to excellence. As Team Leader, you’ll mentor team members, and foster a collaborative environment focused on high-quality outcomes for clients.
Accountable for:
Strategy & Execution
1. Implement departmental plans in team to deliver Fletchers’ priorities
2. Ensure that the team provides excellent customer service
3. Ensure the team achieves their agreed performance targets
4. Deliver the appropriate objectives on “The Pitch”
5. Support the budgeting process for the Clinical Negligence department
6. Ensure high quality case planning, file management and ESD management within team, to support financial planning and delivery of team budgets
Leadership & Management
7. Lead the team, managing the team members
8. Coach, develop and support team members
9. Management behaviours
10. Promote a “cradle to grave” environment where all lawyers are constantly developing and meeting their potential
Technical
11. Provide advice and guidance on any and all Clinical Negligence issues
12. Ensure cases are progressed appropriately and customer satisfaction is delivered
13. Work with the Heads of to ensure the team delivers quality legal services with unrivalled customer care in a compliant way

The ideal candidate will have:
24. Experience of successfully leading or managing in a Clinical Negligence team
25. Experience of running a wide variety of Clinical Negligence claims
26. Ability to deliver excellent customer service
27. A good understanding of how to deliver and grow team productivity
28. Experience of coaching and supporting team members
29. Ability to role model good practice leadership
30. Technology literate, with the ability to use technology to enhance legal services
31. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to form positive working relationships with a
32. wide variety of team members
