Champion best practice in safeguarding and mental capacity. Work creatively to achieve positive outcomes for adults with learning disabilities. Contribute to high‑quality decision‑making, risk management and care planning Prepare clear, professional reports in line with policies and procedures, which may be required in legal proceedings Demonstrate a clear understanding of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act 2005 Be confident in attending court and participating in legal hearings What We’re Looking For Qualified Senior Social Worker with current Social Work England registration. Active practice of: ASYE Assessor and/or Practice Educator and/or Best Interest Assessor and/or Consolidation of Professional Practice (or equivalent) Strong commitment to person-centred, strengths-based practice.
