About the Role As a Support Practitioner, You will: Provide person-led support that promotes health, being through daily activities at home and the community. Provide practical support with daily living (e.g., cooking, cleaning, personal care, medication, financial management) while encouraging active participation. Provide encouragement and hands-on support to help the person build and sustain social connections, friendships and networks. About You: You are a reflective practitioner who shares our values and commitment to inclusion. You will bring: Strong interpersonal skills and written communication skills, adapting style to suit different audiences. Empathy, patience and compassion, with the ability to build trusting and respectful relationships. An ability to work cooperatively and flexibly as part of a team, covering shifts when required. This may include covering shifts during colleagues’ sickness, holidays or training periods. Professional accountability, ensuring that your professional registration and qualifications remain up to date as required by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) consistently adhering to its Codes of Practice.
