Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester
1. Location: Warwick
2. Basic Salary: Up to £33,000 (depending on experience)
3. On Target Earnings (OTE): Up to £40,000
4. Hours: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, no Saturdays)
Our client, a thriving dealership in Warwickshire, is seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join their growing team. The MOT Technician role offers the opportunity to work in a busy service center with a supportive after-sales team committed to delivering high-quality repairs and servicing to customers.
Key Responsibilities as a MOT Technician:
5. Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles.
6. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues using the latest diagnostic tools.
7. Conduct vehicle MOTs in line with DVSA standards.
8. Deliver high standards of workmanship, ensuring customer satisfaction.
9. Stay updated on product knowledge and training opportunities.
10. Work efficiently to meet deadlines and maintain productivity targets.
Requirements:
11. NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs.
12. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry.
13. A clean driving license (essential).
14. MOT accreditation is desirable but not essential.
15. Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude and commitment to learning new skills.
