Golf Kingdom has some of the best golf facilities in Essex. These include an 18 hole golf course, 25 bay Toptracer driving range, 18 hole Adventure Golf facility, 18 hole Footgolf course, American Golf retail store and golf simulator room.
The Position
We require a Full-Time Duty Manager, working 40 hours per week.
Successful applicants will ensure that a first class service is provided to all members and visitors by performing to a high standard the role of Duty Manager.
You will support senior management in the club opening & closing procedures as well as carrying out duty manager functions to ensure the smooth running of the facility.
The ideal applicant will possess the following attributes and qualifications:
* Be passionate about delivering professional customer service.
* Have previous experience working around food.
* Have excellent team & interpersonal skills
* A cheerful and professional disposition, acting as an ambassador for the business at all times.
* Be self-motivated and be comfortable talking to customers both in person and over the telephone, you will also be comfortable corresponding with customers and staff by email and generally be happy using technology.
* Ability to work under pressure & use initiative to resolve problems that may arise at first point of contact, whilst ensuring excellent customer service is maintained.
* While previous experience in the leisure industry isn't essential, experience within a golf/health club environment would be advantageous.
* First aid certification is an advantage but not essential, a first aid training course will be provided upon commencement.
The role includes weekends, early morning and evening shifts on a rostered basis. A flexible approach to the working week is necessary in order to meet the requirements of the business.
