Offer description

Monster Group is seeking a commercially minded and detail-oriented Sales Pricing Specialist and Analyst to join our growing team. This role plays a key part in shaping our pricing strategy across multiple online channels, helping us remain competitive, maximise margins, and drive profitable growth.

You'll analyse market trends, competitor pricing, and sales performance to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure our product pricing supports business objectives. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for ecommerce to make a real commercial impact.

Role Responsibilities

* Monitor and analyse competitor pricing, market movements, and promotional trends across online marketplaces and our own ecommerce channels.
* Support the development and implementation of dynamic pricing strategies to optimise sales, margin, and profitability.
* Conduct margin and profit analysis to support decision-making and identify improvement opportunities.
* Produce regular sales and pricing reports, highlighting key insights, variances, and recommendations to the Head of Marketing.
* Work closely with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment on pricing and promotional activity.
* Maintain pricing databases and ensure product information accuracy across all channels.
* Assist with pricing tests and reviews to support commercial initiatives and product launches.

Skills & Experience We Love

* Strong analytical and numerical skills, with an eye for detail.
* Advanced Excel proficiency (including pivot tables, lookups, and formula-based analysis).
* Understanding of online retail, pricing strategy, or sales analytics (ideally within an ecommerce environment).
* Ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience using or querying SQL is a plus but not required.
* Self-motivated and proactive with a commercial mindset.

The role is full time - start between 8.00am and 9.30am, and finish between 4.00pm and 5.30pm (37.5 hours per week with 1 hour for lunch), and you will be based at our modern office near York (YO60 6PG) 5 days a week, so having your own transport is essential.
