Role: Economics Teacher
As an Economics Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students in their study of economics. You will support students in developing a well-rounded understanding of economic theory, current affairs, and financial concepts. Your role will include:
As an Economics Teacher, you should be planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and meaningful Economics lessons to students of various age groups (KS4 and KS5).
* Encouraging students to apply economic analysis and critical thinking skills in various contexts.
* Collaborating with other members of staff to ensure the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Economics.
* Promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment within the Economics department.
* As a qualified Economics Teacher, you will be expected to attend departmental meetings.
Key Qualities We Are Looking For:
* A strong passion for Economics and a desire to support students' economic understanding.
* A recognized teaching qualification in Economics, or equivalent.
* Experience in teaching Economics to secondary-aged students is highly desirable.
* A passion for developing young people academically and critically.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a stimulating and collaborative team.
