Role Title:
Project Manager / Business Analyst
*Please note, this is a 3-month fixed-term contract*

Senior Business Analyst
Main Purpose of the Role:
We seek an experienced Project Manager / Business Analyst to join our busy IT and operations team at our Head Office. Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, the role focuses on supporting the delivery and implementation of a new technology solution for our Lettings business, alongside other key projects. Responsibilities include point-of-sale needs, property management requirements, and back-office client accounting.
You will work proactively with internal and external stakeholders to elicit, communicate, and validate requirements, ensuring solutions provide real business value while considering existing practices, processes, and sector trends. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual with a strong understanding of successful IT program delivery, capable of managing demanding workloads and stakeholders across England and South Wales.
Activities/Main Duties:
* Create, optimize, and manage schedules and project plans across teams and suppliers.
* Advise on timelines and dependencies for implementation, including detailed breakdowns.
* Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies, establishing governance mechanisms.
* Gather and manage requirements; conduct detailed business and systems process analysis.
* Facilitate collaboration to consider and address the impact of solutions.
* Work closely with stakeholders from business, technical teams, and third parties for solution sign-offs.
* Provide analysis support for project issues, ensuring timely tracking and reporting.
* Participate in project planning, meetings, reviews, and demonstrations.
* Produce quality deliverables on time and within budget.
* Identify opportunities for process and outcome improvements, working with operational teams to implement changes.
The ideal candidate will need to be:
* Project-focused.
* Familiar with use case logic/diagrams.
* Strategic.
* Experienced with third-party providers.
* Ambitious.
Candidates will also need to have:
* Ability to quickly understand and interpret business knowledge.
* Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
* Strong communication skills for explaining complex problems and writing requirements.
* Capability to assess project tasks, risks, and delegate work.
* Skills in managing schedules, quality, and progress monitoring.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum five years’ experience in Project Management and/or Business Analysis with references.
* Experience or knowledge of letting property processes or mortgage lending is advantageous.
* Proficiency in analysis, design techniques, and business process documentation.
* Experience with project management software is a plus.
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
