Salary: Up to £51,000 plus annual bonus scheme

As a Senior Operational Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in securing a reliable supply of raw materials to support production demands and align with operational schedules. You'll contribute to building robust buying capabilities through supplier management, process enhancements, and team development, all while reporting to the Supply Chain Team Leader.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage the procurement of raw materials to ensure a consistent supply that aligns with production schedules.
* Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiating terms, monitoring performance, and ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
* Collaborate with planning, production, and commercial teams to align purchasing activities with business objectives and strategic goals.
* Contribute to the development of operational buying processes, including continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancements.
* Mentor and support junior Buyers, sharing expertise and best practices to foster a resilient and high-performing team.
* Generate and analyze Supply Chain KPIs to drive improvements in service levels and inventory performance.

* Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills.
