Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Quantity Surveyor based at our head office in Blundeston. The successful candidate will have a varied role involved with all aspects of Quantity Surveying including cost control/analysis, preparing Bills of Quantities for viability appraisals, sub-contract and material procurement, site measurement and liaison with site management teams, payment of sub-contractors, pre and post contract management. The role also involves cost reporting and ensuring that all financial aspects of construction projects are accurately managed and reported.
Qualifications
* Skills in Cost Control, Cost Planning, and Cost Management
* Experience in preparing Bills of Quantities
* Good negotiation and communication skills
* Excellent analytical and numerical skills
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
* Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field
* Experience in the house building sector would be beneficial but not essential
