Investment Oversight Manager
This is a great job for someone with Asset management industry experience, with evidence of delivering MI and Performance analysis.
A bit about the job:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the oversight of UK regulated funds, including Open-Ended Investment Companies (OEICs) and Tax Transparent Funds (TTFs). The successful candidate will ensure these funds remain aligned with their investment objectives, guidelines, and regulatory standards. This role involves overseeing the investment process and performance across all Public Market Strategies, preparing detailed updates for Boards and Committees on both internal and external Portfolio and Investment Managers. You will be responsible for managing investment oversight controls and risks, continuously refining an effective oversight model that ensures regulatory, sustainability, product, and investment objectives are met within a robust risk and control framework. Key responsibilities include determining the appropriate oversight strategy for Public Markets, governing outsourced providers, implementing regulatory compliance across jurisdictions, and shaping internal manager oversight governance. The role also includes chairing the Private Markets Investment Oversight Committee and providing strategic leadership in the design and evolution of the investment oversight framework. You will oversee regulatory interpretation and risk management, set escalation protocols, and act as a key liaison with senior leadership, boards, and regulators—delivering transparent reporting and embedding oversight into product development.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
1. Industry related qualifications helpful e.g. IMC, CFA, Investment Operations Certificate
2. Operational Due Diligence experience on Active and Passive Investment Managers
3. Understanding of operational workings within open ended investment vehicles.
4. Well-developed problem solving, decision making and communication skills.
5. Successful track record of building effective working relationships at a senior level to actively influence and achieve results / Stakeholder management.

In this role you’ll be ‘Certified’ under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority’s Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we’ll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we’ll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain ‘fit and proper’ and competent to carry out your role. We’ll provide training on what holding a SMCR role means when you join us and annually thereafter.
