The Role
Our client are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values autonomy in their work. You will be responsible for the full commercial management of residential and groundwork projects, from tender through to final account.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage all costs relating to residential and groundwork projects
* Prepare, submit and negotiate tenders and contract variations
* Monitor project budgets, valuations, and cost forecasts
* Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Conduct site visits to monitor progress and financial performance
* Support project teams in delivering profitable and on-time delivery
* Ensure compliance with contractual and legal obligations
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential and groundworks sectors
* Strong commercial awareness and contract knowledge
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., Excel, estimating software, etc.)
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field preferred
* Full UK driving licence (if applicable)
