Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and hands-on sales and operations coordinator to support the smooth day-to-day running of our depot. The role is varied and requires someone who is confident in both customer facing tasks and practical warehouse duties. You will act as a key support to the Sales and Operations supervisor, ensuring efficient operations and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
* Answering incoming calls, handling customer enquiries, and taking customer orders accurately.
* Assisting with the processing and fulfilment of customer orders.
* Supporting warehouse operations, including picking, packing, loading, and stock control.
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised working environment.
* Helping to coordinate deliveries and collections.
* Monitoring stock levels and highlighting shortages or discrepancies.
* Assisting with depot administration, including order entry and record keeping.
* Contributing to team performance by supporting colleagues and promoting a positive work environment.
Skills & Experience
* Agricultural background preferred but not essential.
* Previous experience in a depot, warehouse, or trade counter environment (preferred but not essential).
* Strong customer service and communication skills.
* Confident using phones, computers, and order processing systems.
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
* Forklift licence (desirable, not essential).
* Good organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Willingness to take a hands-on approach and support in all areas of the depot.

Pay: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
