Overview
Pay: £37,500.00 - £40,000.00 per year (starting salary £37,500 (PIP) - £40,000 (WCA) + bonus scheme and benefits). Location: Hybrid (office and home working) Salisbury. Hours: Monday to Friday 9 – 5.
We are recruiting for registered Nurses (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists (OTs) in Salisbury who want to use and to build upon their clinical skills and knowledge and benefit from the excellent work life balance and professional development that a career as a PIP OR WCA Functional Assessor can give you. We are seeking applications from clinicians with a minimum of 1-year post-qualification experience and registration in the UK. In this role you will grow your medical knowledge of a wide variety of medical, cognitive and mental health conditions.
Responsibilities
* You will undertake a combination of file-work, face-to-face and telephone/video assessments with customers in relation to PIP OR ESA benefits and provide comprehensive reports to enable decision makers at DWP to make informed decisions regarding benefit claims.
* Assessments focus on how a disability affects a customer’s day to day life and performing work related activities.
* Provide ongoing CPD, with over 100 hours CPD protected per annum, support with revalidation and the opportunity to develop your career within the organisation.

Requirements
* One year's post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist or physiotherapist
* Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or other), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN
* Excellent observational and communication skills, giving you the ability to listen, empathise and dig deeper
* The ability to type at a minimum of 30 words per minute
