About the Company:
Our client is a respected independent financial advice firm based in Coventry. The business has a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality financial planning advice to a loyal client bank. With a strong emphasis on pensions, retirement planning, and ongoing client relationships, the firm offers a stable and professional environment where client service is at the heart of everything they do.
Key Responsibilities:
* Client contact, assistance and communication
* Liaising with clients and providers to gather information
* Assisting with product and fund research
* Producing cash flow models
* Attending client file meetings with advisers
* Supporting advisers with suitability reports (advice intended and given)
* New business processing through to completion, including chasing providers
* File checking and ensuring completeness and compliance standards
* Client servicing (e.g. change of address, income withdrawals, drawdown servicing)
* Managing ongoing client reviews and review cycles
* Preparing ongoing review suitability letters
* Contacting clients as required for servicing and updates
* Handling incoming and outgoing post, including post office runs where needed
* General office duties including scanning, filing, and answering calls
* Office housekeeping and administrative support
What Were Looking For:
* Previous experience as an IFA Administrator or in a similar financial services support role
* Strong understanding of pensions and retirement income products (essential)
* Excellent communication and client service skills
* Experience working with advisers and financial planning processes
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a busy environment
* Confident handling client communication and provider liaison
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with Intelliflo or similar CRM systems
* Knowledge of cashflow modelling tools
* Experience supporting paraplanners or advisers with suitability reports
* Understanding of drawdown and pension withdrawal processes
