Deputy Manager – Residential Care Location: Speke Salary: 30-32,000 Per Annum An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Deputy Manager to join a residential service supporting adults in a person-centred environment. Working closely with the Registered Manager, the successful candidate will support the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care, strong team leadership, and compliance with regulatory requirements. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care while motivating and developing a dedicated staff team. The Role As Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the service delivers safe, effective and compassionate support. You will assist with the management of the staff team, monitor the quality of care being delivered and ensure best practice is maintained at all times. You will also support the planning, implementation and review of individual care and support plans, ensuring the people supported are empowered to live as independently and meaningfully as possible. Working in partnership with the Registered Manager and multidisciplinary professionals, you will help maintain a positive and safe environment where individuals can build confidence, develop life skills and make meaningful choices about their lives. Key Responsibilities Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day management of the home Ensure high standards of care and support are delivered consistently Lead and delegate effectively during shifts Support, supervise and develop members of the staff team, including completing regular supervisions Monitor service quality and maintain compliance with relevant policies and regulatory standards Contribute to care planning, implementation and evaluation Maintain accurate and professional written records Work collaboratively with clinical professionals and external partners Provide support to individuals during challenging situations and behavioural crises Promote a positive, person-centred culture within the service About You The ideal candidate will be compassionate, resilient and passionate about delivering outstanding care.
