Jardox are currently recruiting a Quality Assurance Technologist to join the friendly team in our offices in Sevenoaks, working 8am - 5pm.
At Jardox, we are the "Taste Behind the Brands." Based in Sevenoaks, Kent, we are a 'one stop shop' for all savoury ingredients, specialising in stocks, gravies, curry pastes, marinades, glazes, sausage & burger seasonings and herb & spice based products.
Working within the office and production areas at Jardox, the successful candidate's role will be made up of the following:
· Maintain and improve Food Safety Culture within Jardox
· Carry out water temperature checks and take corrective actions where required
· Carry out water sampling and environmental swabbing
· Take samples of raw materials/packaging and finished products for Jardox surveillance testing, and support different investigation processes
· Deal with glass breakages
· Carry out packaging and labelling checks
· Carry out Chemical Titration Testing within our Production Area
· Carry out and log temperature checks
· Carry out GMP and recipe control audits
· Inspect lines and assess the cleaning of equipment as required by our procedures
· Assist our Production and Quality departments to ensure MD is managed in accordance with relevant procedures
· Assist Production and Quality teams with day-to-day issues concerning products quality, authenticity, legality, and food safety
· Assist the Quality team during investigations on product's non-conformity
We are ideally looking for someone with a qualification in food science / technology or similar, with experience in quality control in a food manufacturing environment.

We close between Christmas and New Year and contribute to your pension at a rate of 5.5%.
Holiday allowance is 33 days per year (including bank holidays).
