Customer Assistant - Carryduff at Lidl Northern Ireland. Join to apply for the Customer Assistant role. Summary: from our Head Office to the shop floor and everywhere in between our primary goal is to create and deliver a fantastic customer journey for everyone who shops at Lidl. Customer obsessed, high energy and love learning every day? If that sounds like you, earn £370+ per week as a Customer Assistant on our standard 30 hour contract. Your role will be varied, working across different shift times, tasks and with different colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Interacting with the customer in a pleasant, friendly and helpful manner
* Ensuring stock loss controls are followed in all areas of the store
* Maintaining store and external cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Following freshness and rotation principles
* Ensuring all waste is managed correctly
* Assisting in the stock count process
What you’ll do (shift patterns)
* Morning shift: Starting at 5am or 6am with your team, you’ll be stocking the shop floor and bakery products to be ready for customers by opening time
* Middle shift: Starting mid-morning or early afternoon, maintain store presentation, assist customers on the shop floor and on tills to minimise queues
* Late shift: Serving customers on tills, restocking missing items and preparing the store for the next day

* Preferably, previous experience in a customer facing role but not essential if you have the right attitude

Salary progression details
* Year 1: Basic £12.40; Unsocial Hours £15.50; Overtime/Sundays £18.60
* Year 2: Basic £12.80; Unsocial Hours £16.00; Overtime/Sundays £19.20
* Year 3: Basic £13.40; Unsocial Hours £16.75; Overtime/Sundays £20.10
* Year 4: Basic £14.10; Unsocial Hours £17.63; Overtime/Sundays £21.15
