We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to lead steelwork installation and lifting operations on a major industrial project.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage site steelwork installation and workpack delivery from issue to handover.
* Act as Appointed Person — prepare lift plans, RAMS, and crane configurations to LOLER and BS .
* Lead daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inductions.
* Plan resources, sequencing, and logistics to meet programme milestones.
* Liaise with client, design, and HSE teams to resolve technical issues.
* Maintain progress, lifting, and quality records for client reporting.
Essential Requirements
* Proven steelwork site management experience on major industrial projects.
* Appointed Person (A61) – Lifting Operations.
* NVQ L3 moving Loads
* SMSTS and NVQ Level 6 Construction Site Management (or equivalent).
* Strong subcontractor and team management track record.
