Taskmaster Ltd are recruiting on behalf of our client in Thorne for an experiencedCNC Machine Operator. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing team producing high-quality furniture components.
Location:Thorne, DN8
Pay:£12.95 £15.58 per hour (depending on experience)
Shifts:Rotating Monday to Friday, 6 am2 pm and Monday to Thursday, 2 pmMidnight.
Note:Flexibility with shifts is essential
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate and set a variety of wood machining equipment, including CNC machines
* Read and work from engineering drawings
* Maintain consistent product quality and meet production targets
* Keep work areas clean and follow all health and safety procedures
* Record production data and use systems like SAP
* Support other production tasks as required
Requirements:
* Experience in wood machining or a similar manufacturing environment
* Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks
* Able to work rotating shifts
* Strong attention to detail
* Basic computer literacy and CNC operation experience
Desirable:
* NVQ or similar qualification in Wood Machining
* Experience using SAP or other manufacturing software
